Checking your card’s balance online is often the quickest and most convenient method. Here’s a simple guide to help you:

  1. Open your web browser and visit the Great Clips official gift card balance page at www.greatclips.com/gift-card-balance, then click on “Check Balance.”
  2. You’ll be prompted to enter your card’s unique 19-digit number. Be sure to enter it correctly without any spaces.
  3. Next, enter the 4-digit PIN or security code located on the back of your card.
  4. Click the “Submit” button (or a similar option).
  5. Within moments, the remaining balance of your card will be displayed on the page.

Tip: If your card doesn’t have the 4-digit code, online verification won’t be possible. In this case, you can visit a local salon for assistance.

If you prefer a direct conversation or encounter issues with the online method, Great Clips’ support team is ready to assist:

  1. Send a brief email to CustomerService@greatclips.com, explaining that you need to check your balance. For quicker assistance, include your 19-digit card number, but do not send the PIN for security reasons.
  2. Alternatively, have your card ready and call the Great Clips helpline at 1-800-473-2825. This service is available for both US and Canada residents.

After a short wait, a representative will assist you. They may ask for card details and will provide you with your current balance.

Checking at the Salon

For those who prefer direct assistance:

  1. Find your nearest Great Clips salon. Many locations provide waiting-time estimates, so you can choose a less busy time.
  2. Once you arrive, approach a staff member and let them know you’d like to check your gift card balance.
  3. Hand them your card, and they’ll use their system to quickly check and inform you of the remaining balance.

Keep in mind, the lack of a 4-digit PIN won’t be an issue at the salon. The staff are trained and have alternative methods to check the card’s value for you.
